With the help of the Welcome Organisation, my successful Associatship with the Royal came about on Sept 2011.

8 months later I was able to apply for my Fellowship with a selection of new images, shot in April of this year. On Friday the 25th May 2012, I was delighted to hear that I was successful with my Fellowship with the Royal Photographic Society.

The 20 images have taken a total of two years to gather. Everything was shot in Belfast city centre, close to the drop-in centre.

It was by far, my most memorable project to date.

My sincere thanks go out to Sandra Moore, director of The Welcome Organisation, my eternal mentor and good friend Jim Moreland for his guidance and support, and most importantly all the guys who participated in the making of these photographs. Thank you.
