Gracehill
Client: World Heritage Organisation
Gracehill, a 1759 Moravian settlement in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, is the first cultural UNESCO World Heritage Site in the region, designated on July 26, 2024, as part of a four-nation “Moravian Church Settlements” nomination. Celebrated for its remarkably well-preserved grid-plan architecture, the settlement reflects a historic commitment to peace, education, and community life.
The imagery highlights Gracehill’s orderly streets, traditional Moravian buildings, and historic character, capturing the essence of one of Northern Ireland’s most significant heritage sites. The photography also emphasizes the interplay between built form and the surrounding rural landscape, showcasing why Gracehill is internationally recognized for its cultural and historical value.
