Surrey House
Client: Park Hood Landscape Architects
Set within the rolling landscape of Surrey, this beautifully composed countryside garden by Park Hood, captured in stunning morning and dusk light with architecture by Ascot Design, showcases a seamless blend of design and texture.
As Director Johnny Hood explains, “The design evolved from a desire to create a series of different external sensory experiences whilst walking through the garden. The Mediterranean garden elegantly accompanies the pool terrace, while the sky mirror water feature visually links the upper garden to the lower lake. Moreover, the layered arrival route carefully divides the journey into a clear approach, entrance, and moment of arrival. In addition, the Japanese garden introduces seasonal warmth in autumn, with a cascading feature that provides both colour and sound — a quiet retreat from daily life”.
Captured in soft morning and dusk light this project defines UK landscape architectural photography at its finest. View the full video of this project now on my YouTube page.
