I’ve been working with FORRME for over six years and have covered all areas of their online development from the home-building sector to more diverse work in the health, education and commercial construction markets.

I recently got to shoot Enniskillen Ambulance Station for them – they won ‘Health Project of the Year’ at the 2018 Irish Construction Industry Awards for this project.

The ambulance station was delivered with sustainability at the forefront of its agenda. Constructed to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standards, the new facility provides the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service with a new identity in Enniskillen and provides the people of the town and surrounding areas with a reinvigorated service that will flourish for many years to come. Well done to the entire project team!

FORRME have a large social housing portfolio. Some projects including the scheme below in Carnlough are among their more successful.

Ballymisert Supported Housing captured on the Belmont Road, Belfast is a perfect example of the company’s attention to detail. The scheme won ‘Best UK Social Housing Scheme’ and ‘Best Sustainable Residential Supported Housing Scheme’ in the UK.

Within the past 3 years, FORRME have broken into the social housing market in Dublin. The project below shot in Balbriggan, is due for completion late 2018.

North Queen Street, shown below, was completed by FORRME in 2017 and was named ‘Best Small Housing Development’ at the coveted 2018 CIH Housing Awards. The scheme involved the construction of 26 social houses on the site of a former PSNI Station. It has delivered rooted, community-led regeneration that is economically sustainable. The site, previously a reminder of the area’s troublesome past, has been rejuvenated, helping to meet the need for social housing in North Belfast and providing a place where people of all persuasions can live.

Whiterock Playpark – Completed late 2017, this site resides on what used to be waste ground in West Belfast.
